Our focus for this property was to create a low-maintenance, drought-tolerant garden inspired by the great botanical gardens. Owned by a former Chevron geologist, we wanted to honor their interest with unique specimen rocks and special attention to boulder selection. 

The owner's interest in botany and request for a more experimental approach allowed us to try new plants that we had never used before in Central Coast landscapes. The end result is a biodiverse, drought-tolerant garden that pushes the boundaries of what modern landscaping can include.
